Jeg skal til at bygge hønsehus med en hønsegård ved siden af. Jeg har ikke lavet noget lignende før, men jeg kan forestille mig rimelig fint hvordan jeg skal gribe det meste an - lige indtil det handler om at beskytte hønsegården mod ræv og mår og lignende og om at holde det hele på jorden i blæsevejr.
Jeg har googlet lidt, og mange foreslår, at man støber fundament hele vejen rundt, og jeg må indrømme, at jeg synes, det lyder voldsomt, når det bare er til høns. Jeg tænker på i stedet at grave ud hele vejen rundt, hvor kanten af gården og hønsehuset skal være, og så simpelthen lade bunden af rammen til hegnet stå et stykke nede i jorden med volierenet på. Så kan der komme jord på bagefter, og så er det hele både sikret mod ting der prøver at grave ind og blæsevejr.
Men er der nogen problemer med den tilgang? Går træet for hurtigt til nede i jorden (selvom det selvfølgelig er trykimprægneret)? Og vil det være en robust nok måde at forankre selve hønsehuset på (jeg regner med et hævet hønsehus, der har væg på noget af rammen til hønsegården)? Eller skal hønsehuset evt. understøttes af sådan noget som det her i stedet?
