Hej,
undskyld jeg kan ikke taler dansk, herfra jeg skriver po engelsk.
I do have a problem with the heating system installed in my house. It is a Baxi Multihead although I do not know if it's a 1.5 or something else. After a security shutdown due to back burning along the conveying screw I can't restart the heating system.
I cleaned the pellet container and the burning cell, as well as the tube where the conveying screw is housed. So there is no tension on the conveying screw and everything is try. Since the fuse popped during the shutdown I would like to turn the system back on while activating the fuse again.
Every time I do this the fuse pops out almost immediately. Do you have any suggestions how to solve this problem?
Any fuses at the heating system to check or anything?
I appreciate all suggestions.
Thanks, Thomas

There must be a dataplate on the unit somewhere. Try to locate it and write down the data here, then it will be a lot easyer to do some troubleshooting.

Yes, you are right. Found it and it is a Multihead 1.5

Re: Baxi Multihead doesn't start after security shutdown
Is it the fuse in your house that pops or a circuit breaker trip in the unit?

Re: Baxi Multihead doesn't start after security shutdown
When I turn the fuse in the house back on, the heating system response with a sound from the electronic and some mechanical sound and then the fuse in the house pops out again.

Re: Baxi Multihead doesn't start after security shutdown
Try to locate the 2 contactors, K1 and K2, for the conveying screw. If the fuse blows when one of the contactors is activated, it is very likely that the motor of the conveying screw is faulty
