Hello Atmos Support team
In the internet forum
www.stokerpro.dk some of the Atmos owners are seeing quick significant deteriorated and wear on the ceramic nozzle in their boilers. Some are badly worn after only a few months of use
E.g. this one, a dc32s. Pictures foto 1.jpg, foto 2.jpg and foto 3.jpg
Only burned 8 m3 of wood, 6 months old
E.g. This one, a dc25s Pictures 1.jpg, 2.jpg and 3.jpg
1,5 years old
What are your comments to this. My old dc22s were 5 years old and had burned more than 125 m3 of wood before the nozzle appeared as worn as these.
Can I have your comments ? Are we seeing a series of nozzles with much shorter lifetime for some reason?

Dear Jensen,
The appprox. lifetime of nozzle is about 3-4 years. It depends on what fuel you use (what type, size, moisture, etc.) it depends how you burn (if you throttle, primary and secondary air settings, draught of chimney, etc.)
We have not reported any claims for customers. So we do not face any such problems. From time to time there can be some broken one. The pictures you sent Foto 1, Foto 2, Foto 3 seems to be more mechanically demaged then material defect. And the rest pictures shows strange coloring (blue and green) which significates that there might have been burned waste material or some material containing chemicals. It is hard to say what could go wrong. I have my own boiler running for second season and the ceramic looks like new. I burn only wood briquettes. it is hard to say what goes wrong or what can cause such damage.
